ROSALIND has enjoyed over 100 years of continuous life in the sea. She was built as a gaff yawl in the spanish yard Stow & Son, on a H.T. Stow design. She was then later transformed into a classic ketch, then into a modern ketch until she underwent a total rebuild during the winter of 1996 in the United Kingdom. The restoration lasted 18 months, saving only her hull and her structural elements. All the interior layout, deck, masts and helm was completely redone. The "Rosalind" is a hundred years old, yet she is at the height of her splendour, thanks to the advances of naval cybernetics, having recovered her original rigging after several previous transformations. This beautiful one off was built at the Stow & Son shipyard in England under the design of the naval architect H. T. Stow and launched in 1904.
