TERN one of then class boats built by John Hildtich in 1897 at Carrick Fergus for a cost of GBP240. All this class were named after sea birds. Only three remain to this day and two have passed through a refit at same yard as TERN has been restorated The Ocean Yacht Company. Tern brought to the yard in 1994, originally to have her counter repaired returned in 1996 for total restoration back to original design work and was completed to be ICYA competitive for 2000.
