BROKERS COMMENTS Kim Holman designed this yacht for himself and raced her for several seasons in Class 111 with notable success. The design demonstrates some American influence in her greater beam for a 24 ft water line length than was normal in English yachts at the time with almost the same beam at waterline and deck level, which with a generous freeboard yields good interior volume. The full bilge, minimal draft, ballast ratio exceeding 40% and low aspect to the rig were all quite innovative

Holman Rummer Yawl 35ft. A very pleasant modern Classic which performs well in the seaways. Built by Stanilands of Hull in 1960. Carvel mahogany planked with teak below the water line on Oak frames. Teak laid deck. 4 full sized berths in one cabin. Large stowage cabin up forward. Head room of 6ft 6ins. Underwent a thorough refit during 2006/7. Her garboards and three strakes above were splined to re-form. The ballast keel was re-bedded and fastened with new keel bolts. Her rudder was rebuilt
