Kurpfalz was originally commissioned by the German Government as a “Zollboot” or Customs Patrol Boat and believed to be in service as such from 1958 to 1990, when she was de-commissioned. She was built by Schless Werft of Wesel am Rhein in riveted Aluminium alloy. Hull form is single chine with a deep V bow warping to flat sections aft. She has been part converted into a pleasure craft but many original features have been retained. She currently offers up to 4 berths and has two heads.
