Description
Brief History
William Garden 1880 design 30ft on deck - 42ft overall sailing schooner built in 1981 by a New Zealand master boat builder winner of three trophies. The weight is 2.0 tons. The hull is three skin kauri cold molded and fibre glassed. The boat sleeps four and has a Yanmar 15 hp diesel motor that pushes her at 5-7 knots. She comes fully found with a hand made dingy, vhf radio, EPIRB, full covers to cover varnish. The boat is Thailand registered (4800- 03260) Jersey Lily No. 39.
She was owned from 1984 to 2001 by a Supreme Court Judge in New Zealand and maintained in excellent condition. She was bought to Thailand in 2001 where she spent six months in the yard doing mostly cosmetic cleanup. The overall condition of the boat when received in Thailand was in excellent condition.
She has been registered in Thailand since 2005. Prior to that, she was still registered in New Zealand.
