Description

Handsome cruising yacht with flush teak decks and of rugged construction.

Construction
Steel hull - hull plating 4mm, keel plate 10mm, keel fin plate 6mm, 23 frames at 50 x 6mm, 22 floors at 4mm, 4 floors at 6mm, 8 chain plates at 10mm.
Decks: 10mm teak laid over 15mm mahogany marine ply, epoxy bonded, primed and sealed with `arbokol' and `sikarflex' compounds.Hand laid and screwed at 14" centres with phosphor bronze screws.
Steel protection: grit blasted to SA3 Swedish standard.Epoxy primer coated throughout, 6 coats minimum inside and out.2 pack polyurethane paint (above waterline). Bilge and lockers painted 2 coats minimum, bilge paint.













Mechanical Equipment
Perkins Prima 50hp diesel engine, freshwater cooled via salt water heat exchanger. Flexible mounts, major overhaul May 2005. 3 bladed propeller. Aqua drive anti-vibration coupling. High output alternator charging system. Calorifier with immersion heater 120 a/hr, 70a/hr, 2 banks of batteries manually switched, all replaced 2005 with deep cycle lead acid. Multiple fuel filter complete with water separator.

Fuel capacity: 100 gallons (455 litres approx)
Freshwater capacity: 165 gallons (752 litres approx)


Domestics & plumbing: pressured hot and cold water system, backed up by manual system. Salt water to galley. Calorifier using waste heat from engine (1 hour running time gives ample hot water and charges batteries), shower, all plumbing runs easily identified. All seacocks grouped and labelled, non seizing anti corrosive "action seacocks". All hull openings have a seacock fixed.12v DC via distribution panel, all wiring easily accessed, numerous cabin lamps and individual berth lights either halogen, low wattage bulbs or fluorescent, manual bilge pumps, and 12v DC sockets throughout.

Accommodation
Interior: functional snug layout styled and hand crafted using selected hand rubbed timbers, tongue and groove panelling, easy care satin finish throughout, striped holly sole, luxury carpeting, white vinyl headlining complete with hardwood trim.Stylish upholstered seating and berths incorporating numerous functional brass rimmed portlights lend that traditional feel and give a light and airy feel to the accommodation.Numerous hand holds throughout.

Heads: White formica, hardwood trim non-slip epoxy coated floor, teak grating to shower, sump pumps directly overboard formica topped unit, shelves, lockers and stowage.Monobloc mixer taps complete with shower head, direct draining basin, sea toilet, deck head ventilator, deck head ventilation hatch, portlight, mirror and lighting.

Galley: Ceramic tile worksurfaces, hardwood trim, deep fiddles, twin stainless steel sinks, chopping board, monobloc mixer taps, manual freshwater, manual salt water, Taylors 041 cooker and oven in gimbals plus stainless steel overhead, crash bar, top loading fridge, heavily insulated stainless steel liner, locker doors, shelving, lockers and stowage, seacock access, trash bin.

Navigation area: Large chart table top opening, side locker, seat with stowage under, bookshelf and instrument stowage, electric distribution panel (12v DC and 240v AC), wet locker, drains to bilge.Lined curtains, engine casing, interconnected water tanks under complete with baffles and inspection hatches etc.The doghouse area has good visibility, brass rimmed portlights, striped holly sole, hand holds and companion way complete with non slip tread.

Aft cabin: Split double berth, single berth, calorifier under, 2 wardrobes, mirror, lockers and shelves.Handholds.2 deckhead hatches.4 portlights, huge lockers, hold and removable hatch access to engine/machinery etc. sole hatches, bound edge carpeting.

Forecabin: Split double berth, stowage under, locker with shelves, chain locker access, shelves and steps to hatch access, plus 2 opening ports, fixed upholstered seat, hand holds, sole hatches, tool/bosun's locker, deep fiddled shelves, drawer and stowage etc.Wardrobe aft, bound edge carpeting.

Saloon: Deep pilot berth, shelf, settee with lockers behind and under.Feature saloon table lowers to form large double berth and lockers behind and under.Bookshelves, lockers etc, turned newel posts and half bulkhead.Stylish upholstered seating complete with combustion modified foams, and flat weave heavy duty upholstery which is coated with soilguard protection.Sole access hatches and stowage.Bound edge carpeting.

Pulpit, fore and aft plus "granny bars" and fender stowage.Stanchions.3 anti snag dorade rails.6 fairleads.6 mooring cleats and 1 Samson post. Sprayhood and cockpit tent cover. Headsail sheet tracks through bolted. 8-man liferaft (in-date) available by separate negotiation.
