Classic sailing yacht with good performance and with a full inventory. Mechanical Systems Located under cockpit, Nanni 2.40 ECO 2-cylinder 10.6hp diesel engine. Single lever controls with electric start. Shaft drive to fixed 2-bladed propeller. Vetus 5.5 gallon fuel tank. The engine was removed and overhauled in July 2008 which included changing all fluids, reconditioning the alternator and replacing the starter motor, wiring loom, warning buzzers, oil filter and alternator belt due to flooding.
2 x Numax 12v 85ah batteries (new July 2008) charged via engine alternator. Full cabin lighting. Sails & Spars Fractional rigged sloop. Varnished spruce mast (1987) and boom (1988). Spreaders. Spinnaker pole. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing mainsail. Hanked foresails. 2 x Lewmar sheet winches. Lewmar halyard winch.

GRP sheathed decks and coachroof painted with blue non-slip paint. Varnished cockpit and coachroof sides. Cast iron long keel. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder.
During the storms in 1987 'Shaula' sunk and was badly damaged and that as a result of this much work was professionally completed on the hull, superstructure, engine installation and electrical systems to return her to excellent condition.
